As an authoritative expert in the welding field, Professor Zhang Huijie focused on a common industrial technical challenge — the joining of dissimilar materials of carbon fiber and aluminum alloy, systematically explaining the principles, process advantages and latest research findings of all-solid-state friction stir joining technology. He pointed out that, as an advanced solid-state joining technology, it effectively solves the joining difficulties caused by differences in physical and chemical properties between carbon fiber and aluminum alloys. Featuring high joint strength, few defects, small deformation and environmental friendliness, it is perfectly suitable for the joining needs of lightweight structural parts in rail transit, new energy vehicles, aerospace and other fields, providing core technical solutions for clients to break through the bottleneck of dissimilar material joining.
