On April 1, 2026, Hebei Tangu Carbon Fiber Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Hebei Tangu") grandly held the "Leading Carbon Manufacturing · Creating a Shared Future — Hebei Tangu Special Client Symposium at Shenzhen Industrial Exhibition" at the Liyi Hotel in Shenzhen on April 1. The symposium brought together numerous high-quality manufacturers in the industrial sector and industry experts, joining hands with various enterprises to discuss product innovation, advance industrial cooperation, and plan new chapters of development.
At the meeting, Wei Quandong, Chairman of Hebei Tangu, delivered a welcome speech, extending warm welcome and sincere gratitude to all client representatives traveling from afar. He stated that the symposium, taking the exhibition as a bond, built a bridge for in-depth communication between the enterprise and its clients, aiming to precisely align with market demands, deepen supply-demand cooperation, and facilitate the wider application of carbon fiber materials in the field of high-end manufacturing.

Demonstrating Strength: Comprehensive Interpretation of Corporate Development and Capacity Layout
At the beginning of the symposium, Zhao Qiyue, Sales Manager of Hebei Tangu, delivered a keynote report titled Overview of Corporate Development and Product Capacity Analysis, systematically introducing the company’s development history, industrial advantages, product matrix and capacity planning. As a high-tech state-owned enterprise under Jilin Chemical Fiber Group, specializing in the R&D and production of high-performance carbon fiber and composite materials, the company is equipped with multiple German imported Dornier carbon fiber weaving machines, high-end intelligent prepreg equipment, multiaxial warp knitting machines, carbon/carbon preform equipment, and various advanced production lines for carbon fiber products. It boasts an annual comprehensive production capacity of 2,100 tons of carbon fiber composite products, covering civil industry, rail transit, automotive lightweighting, unmanned aerial vehicles, medical devices and other fields. He clearly noted that the company will continue to optimize its production structure, expand production capacity, and fully meet the diversified demands of clients with stable supply, excellent quality and efficient services.

Technology-led: In-depth Sharing of Composite Applications and Dissimilar Material Joining Technologies
The symposium specially invited two technical experts to deliver cutting-edge presentations, providing comprehensive technical guidance on carbon fiber composite materials for clients.
Hu Chunlei, Chief Engineer of Carbon Fiber Composite Products at Jilin Chemical Fiber Group, delivered a speech themed Applications of Carbon Fiber Composite Structural Products in Industrial Equipment. Combining numerous practical cases, he deeply analyzed the core properties of carbon fiber materials, such as light weight, high strength, corrosion resistance, fatigue resistance and flexible design, and elaborated on innovative application solutions in industrial equipment structural parts, transmission components, anti-corrosion vessels, robotic arms and other fields. By comparing with traditional steel, stone and aluminum alloy materials, he highlighted the remarkable value of carbon fiber composites in achieving equipment lightweighting, improving operational efficiency, extending service life and reducing operation and maintenance costs. He also provided professional interpretations on key technologies including design priorities, molding processes and performance optimization of composite products in the industrial sector, offering clear directions for clients’ product upgrading.

Zhang Huijie, Dean of the School of Resources and Materials at Northeastern University, shared a presentation on All-Solid-State Dissimilar Friction Stir Joining Technology for Aluminum Alloy/Carbon Fiber Composites. As an authoritative expert in the welding field, Professor Zhang Huijie focused on a common industrial technical challenge — the joining of dissimilar materials of carbon fiber and aluminum alloy, systematically explaining the principles, process advantages and latest research findings of all-solid-state friction stir joining technology. He pointed out that, as an advanced solid-state joining technology, it effectively solves the joining difficulties caused by differences in physical and chemical properties between carbon fiber and aluminum alloys. Featuring high joint strength, few defects, small deformation and environmental friendliness, it is perfectly suitable for the joining needs of lightweight structural parts in rail transit, new energy vehicles, aerospace and other fields, providing core technical solutions for clients to break through the bottleneck of dissimilar material joining.

In-depth Dialogue: Focusing on Client Demands and Jointly Solving Technical Problems
In the interactive session of the meeting, attending clients actively offered suggestions and engaged in enthusiastic discussions, putting forward specific demands and future technology development directions regarding technical standards, category expansion, product performance, customized development and application adaptation of Hebei Tangu’s products. Among them, clients expressed urgent needs for technical breakthroughs, especially focusing on the welding and joining technology of carbon fiber and aluminum alloys. At the meeting, the two industry experts answered all demands and suggestions raised by clients theoretically one by one, and provided feasible solutions. After the meeting, Chairman Wei Quandong stated that Hebei Tangu would systematically sort out client demands, organize R&D personnel to formulate special research plans, accelerate the R&D and implementation of relevant technologies, and earnestly respond to market and client concerns.
Both parties conducted in-depth discussions on topics such as product performance improvement, cost optimization, application scenario expansion and joint technical research. The venue was filled with a warm and harmonious atmosphere. Attendees all stated that through this exchange, they had gained a deeper understanding of carbon fiber material applications and key joining technologies, and looked forward to deepening cooperation with Hebei Tangu to jointly tackle technical challenges and promote the launch of more innovative products.

Strategic Outlook: Empowered by the Group to Build a New Industrial Ecosystem
During the symposium, Wei Quandong, Chairman of Hebei Tangu, noted that materials are the foundation of industrial development. At present, China’s carbon fiber industry has entered a new stage of independent control and high-quality development. He introduced that Hebei Tangu is located in Shijiazhuang, enjoying convenient transportation and a favorable climate for carbon fiber production, and maintains close cooperation with Beijing and Tianjin in aviation and military industries. Meanwhile, its parent company Jilin Chemical Fiber Group has invested over 20 billion yuan in total, building more than 20 carbonization production lines. This year, it will add multiple new lines including a 3K thousand-ton carbonization line and a special large-tow carbonization line for ships, bringing the total capacity to 100,000 tons, providing a solid guarantee for the stable supply of raw materials to Hebei Tangu. With the above advantages, Hebei Tangu has established a stable and reliable raw material support system and large-scale production capacity.

Finally, Chairman Wei Quandong emphasized that Hebei Tangu positions itself to layout the carbon fiber industry with a full industrial chain mindset, deeply engaging in the whole-chain development and supporting services from raw materials to end users. Through large-scale and mass production, the company will continue to provide clients with cost-effective products and professional services. It hopes to carry out various forms of cooperation with all attendees in their respective specialized fields, form synergy from the raw material end to the end market, jointly expand and strengthen each product and industry, promote the localized, high-end and international development of the carbon fiber industry, and inject new momentum into the new-type industrialization of China.
