Carbon fiber warp-knitted fabric:
Warp-knitted axial fabric is a type of fabric produced by warp-knitting machines equipped with a yarn inlay device, where the yarn can be inlaid parallel and straight in the required direction according to usage requirements. As a textile with a special structure, carbon fiber warp-knitted axial fabric not only has good structural integrity, flexible design, and excellent mechanical properties, but also features high production efficiency and low production cost. Therefore, it has great potential in industrial applications, especially as a reinforcing material for composite materials such as resin-based, cement-based, and rubber-based composites. In recent years, it has received extensive attention and application in fields such as aviation, transportation, wind power, and construction.
Performance characteristics of carbon fiber multiaxial fabrics:
Strength and stiffness : Multiaxial fabrics can place reinforcing materials in the correct direction of the load that the component will bear, thereby making full use of the mechanical properties of the reinforcing yarns.
Good dimensional stability and shear performance : Due to the introduction of yarns in the ±45° direction, the shear deformation of the fabric is restricted.
Good lay-up and pre-shaping effects : Multiaxial fabrics have high lay-up efficiency, can be directly cut and laid, and can also be pre-shaped.
Good resin impregnability : Channels are easily formed in the fabric fibers, which reduces the impregnation pressure and is conducive to the uniform distribution of resin.
Main application fields:
Aerospace : Used in the manufacturing of structural components for aircraft, satellites, etc., such as the rear pressure cabin of Airbus A380 and the cargo door of Airbus A400M.
Wind power generation : Applied to wind turbine blades, nacelles, and the reinforcement of general composite materials.
Automotive industry : Used in automotive body structures, power systems, suspension systems, braking systems, etc.
Building reinforcement : Used for the reinforcement of buildings to improve the seismic performance and load-bearing capacity of building structures.
Sports equipment : Used in the manufacturing of sports equipment, such as snowboards, golf clubs, etc.
